Before applying please find the study programme of your interest and check the programme description. Please first read all the information about the admission process and prepare all the necessary documents electronically in PDF format.

The admission process

After all the above listed documents are submitted, the applicant takes part in an interview with the Admission Committee of the Faculty. The interview can be online or a personal meeting in Veszprém, depending on the applicant’s preference. Based on the interview the committee makes a recommendation regarding the admission of the applicant.

In case of a positive decision the Faculty sends a Letter of Notification to the applicant. In the Letter of Notification the applicant will be informed to transfer the tuition fee for the chosen academic programme covering the first 2 semesters.

After the tuition fee covering the first two semesters arrived to the bank account of the Faculty the Official Letter of Admission will be sent to the applicant. The Official Letter of Admission is to be submitted to the Embassy or Consulate of Hungary in the country of the applicant to acquire a visa.

If the visa application is refused, the University of Pannonia will refund the pre-paid tuition fee. Please note that the applicant must request the transfer in a written form by indicating the preferred bank account and attaching the decision letter regarding the visa refusal.

If the applicant establishes an active student status online and participates online classes while waiting for the visa, the refund will not be due for the given semester even if the visa is refused. Please note that it is not possible to obtain a degree online at the University of Pannonia.

All students admitted to the academic programme offered in a foreign language are required to have a valid health insurance for the whole period of residence in Hungary.

Accommodation
University of Pannonia offers accommodation at the “Központi” dormitory and Hotel Magister which can be the main scene of social life, where friendships and study groups are formed over the years.
The modern building of “Hotel Magister” is situated near the University, in a calm greenbelt of Veszprém. The building  has 4 levels with elevator. It can accommodate 720 people at a time.
Students can easily reach the Lower Campus less then 10 minutes on foot.
Well-equipped apartments with double room or 2 double rooms with shower and kitchenette (containing microwave oven, refrigerator and sink) are waiting for the students. You can find a common-room with TV on each floor. There is a common kitchen (for about 20 people) and a  washing room on each floor, the installed washing machines can be used with a coin. The hotel has an own, huge parking space. A modern library, a beauty salon, restaurants, sporting facilities, opportunities for entertainment can be found in the neighborhood of the hotel.
Don’t forget, the accommodation certificate required for applying for a visa! If you need accommodation, the first two months must be arranged in advance. The rooms costs 150 EUR/month/person.
