The graduation ceremony of the autumn semester of the Faculty of Business and Economics at University of Pannonia took place on February 7, 2020. The ceremony was preceded by the traditional “Lock Ceremony”. Nearly 200 graduate students received their degree.

Anyone who was unable to attend the event in person could follow the live stream on Facebook. The video has been uploaded to the Youtube channel of the Faculty of Business and Economics which is available from here.

At the ceremony, beside the greetings of Rector András Gelencsér and Dean Dr. Beáta Fehérvölgyi, we were able to listen to the highly inspiring and motivating speech of Zsuzsanna Schleisz, Sales Manager of ExxonMobil Business Support Center Hungary Ltd., about the integration into the global world and the positive effects of a multinational environment.

„I would like to say that it is NOW the most exciting time TODAY to enter the working world, because the possibilities are endless.

For me, back in time, the multinational environment opened up the world but today you can go in the direction which you want. You can start a career with a multinational company like I did, but you have the opportunity to work for a local company, or you can even start your own start-up with leveraging on a good idea and experience of other companies.

It’s all up to you and what you will do with the opportunities around and how you use the knowledge you gained at the university.”
