The Erasmus programme (European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students) has developed into one of the most successful projects of the European Union and nowadays offers a range of different possibilities for you under the new programme called Erasmus+. You have the possibility to study in one of the 33 European Union programme countries for a certain period of time (from 2 to 12 months, depending on the type of mobility). In the framework of the Erasmus+ programme you are allowed to study in one of an Erasmus programme country by one of our partner institution.

If you are a fee-paying student, the Erasmus+ scholarship enables you to study or pursue an internship activity all around the Europian Union countries and some non-EU countries: Turkey, Norway, Iceland, Macedonia, Serbia, Lichtenstein.

If you are a Stipendium Hungaricum student you are not enabled to take part in the Erasmus+ programme because of financial incompatibility among the two scholarships.

University of Pannonia announces a tender of Student Mobility for studies as part of the Erasmus+ programme. The earliest time to take part in the programme is the autumn semester of year 2023/2024 in the contemporary tendered period.

With the Erasmus+ mobility programme students studying on Bachelor`s, Master`s or PhD level have access to 12 months of Student Mobility and Traineeship programmes:

• 3-12 months on educational purposes and/or
• 2-12 months on purposes of traineeships.

Erasmus+ programmes spent earlier count into the frame of 12 months.

Additional grants can be applied for by those who:

• are disabled or have lasting illness
• are socially disadvantaged students.

Eligibility:

• have Hungarian citizenship or valid residence permit
• are registrated students of University of Pannonia
• have one finished semester at least
• have active student status in the tendered period, or
• after finishing their studies there is a desire to take part in Traineeship; the Erasmus+ grant is to be gained as a student (before having a degree and with active student status)
• study on Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD level or attend higher-level vocational training
• are full-time or correspondent students in the Sending Institution
• are professionally prepared and own the language skills needed. Unless the applicant has B2 language exam from the language of the traineeship, a language level assessment is necessary. The successful assessment is the requirement of the mobility.

Of course, they run a “Buddy” programme as well as tandem learning opportunities for incoming students. Accommodation is at a very pleasant, modern dorm within 5 minutes’ walk from the campus.

Duration: Between 6 and 12 months, preferably 1-year duration

Location: Arne Rettedals hus, Kjell Arholms gate 41, 4021 Stavanger, Norway

Starting date: September 2020

Working hours: 9:00-15:00, 30h/week

Accommodation: UiS covers university accommodation cost up to 5000 NOK/month

Payment: No salary; the student is expected to have an Erasmus+ scholarship or other financial support. UiS contributes with coverage of accommodation costs (see above). UiS covers a fee for a Norwegian language course (12 weeks x 4 hours every semester).

Main responsibilities and tasks:

– Supporting the International Admissions team
– Working with different social media channels
– Maintaining of Excel sheets, registration of data to student information software
– Regular updating of webpages
– Contribution to marketing/recruitment and promotion activities
– Other tasks can eventually be added, depending on the performance of the intern

Person profile:

This program is at undergraduate level (end of BSc: 3rd of 4th year); it gives students knowledge in Agriculture, in particular in Animal Productions and in Food Science. During the semester you can earn 28 credit maximum by subjects such as:

– French Language and Intercultural issues of study abroad (for semseter 2 arriving exchange students only: levels A1/A2 to B1),
– Rural Sociology, Food Science,
– Food Innovation,
– International Wine Business & Communication.

The course will be run in English, it’s require an advanced language exam.
