This year’s Academy of Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe took place in Portugal on 11-13 June 2025, which provided an exceptional opportunity to present our work in the framework of the CROCUS project.

Dr Ágnes Raffay-Danyi, researcher from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Pannonia was invited to the event, where she shared her experiences on cultural tourism-based development in a workshop and a round table discussion. The Academy was attended by representatives from more than 30 certified cultural itineraries managers from all over the world.

In this context, the sharing of the CROCUS vision highlighted the crucial importance of linking existing networks, innovative EU-funded research and on-the-ground expertise.
