Beginning of teaching economic subjects at the University of Chemical Industry at Veszprém

Establishment of the Department of Chemistry Technology

Establishment of the Independent Central Departmental Workshop of Plant Economics

Establishment of the Department of Plant Economics

Establishment of the Independent Departmental Workshop of Enterprise Management

Launching the Engineering Manager Programme

Establishment of the Institute of Economics and Management

September – The Bachelor of Commerce and Marketing starts

September – Launch of the Pentor prorgam

September – Establishment of the Balaton Tourism Research Centre

March – The Kőszeg campus is established

September – The dual training courses are launched

February – Postgraduate training in quality improvement launches

January – Veszprem wins the title of European Capital of Culture for 2023
