FESSUD (fessud.org): FESSUD (2011-2016) was a multidisciplinary, pluralistic project which aimed to forge alliances across the social sciences, so as to understand how finance can better serve economic, social and environmental needs. 15 European higher education and research institutions, including the University of Pannonia, participated in the research consortium investigating “Financialization”, a process which amplified the real economic effects of the 2007-2008 Global Financial Crisis. Under the leadership of Szabolcs Szikszai, the Pannon team prepared comprehensive status reports on the Hungarian financial system and on highlighted financial niche markets.
