Our former student, Napoléon Ndayizeye, received his diploma in February and sent us the following kind words.

“As I write these words, I am sitting on a train during my farewell tour across Hungary, saying goodbye to the people and places that have shaped my life for the past two and a half years.It is a bittersweet moment; filled with gratitude, reflection, and pride; because my time at the University of Pannonia has been truly transformative.

Hungary opened its doors to me. Veszprém welcomed me and took care of me. But it was the University of Pannonia that molded me into a stronger, wiser, and more courageous version of myself. It broadened my knowledge, expanded my perspective, and added powerful momentum to my dreams.

What makes this University special is that learning does not only happen inside lecture halls. Yes, you will gain academic knowledge. But beyond that, you will explore cultures, languages, and ideas in dynamic and exciting ways; through study trips, international events, and programs that bring students together outside the classroom.

I arrived confident and ambitious. But my experience at the University of Pannonia elevated that confidence to another level. It gave me the belief that I can succeed anywhere, compete at any level, and adapt to any environment.

Today, I leave feeling prepared; not just with a degree, but with the mindset and resilience to conquer the world.

Exchange students can choose courses from all of the three institutes contributing to the programme.

This allows for a wide range of general and specific classes that students from the University of Pannonia can choose from. Have a look at the attached brochure and see how their “International Programme” may fit you!

Of course, they run a “Buddy” programme as well as tandem learning opportunities for incoming students. Accommodation is at a very pleasant, modern dorm within 5 minutes’ walk from the campus.

Please note that a different range of courses is offered in the fall and spring semesters.

The nomination deadline for the Winter semester 2019 is the 1^st of June, 2019.

We were glad of this possibility and we would like to thank the owner of the accommodation for having greeted us kindly. Csopak is one of the most beautiful villages around Lake Balaton where the Villa is situated. This kind of accommodation that they offer to the tourists seemed to me as a „paradise” for those who would like to relax and just to feel the tranquility and the quietness of the place. When we entered the house the owner immediately welcomed us and the friendly atmosphere provided a homey feeling.

In the lobby of the main building we settled down comfortably in sofas and armchairs with a cup of coffee or tea in our hands and the proprietor presented the story of their enterprise and the whole operation of the House. Then they showed us around the accommodation and we visited the three guesthouses and every type of rooms as well. The garden offers several possibilities for outdoor activities and we can find a playground and other games for the children. For adults they built an outdoor wine bar where the guests can relax in deckchairs and taste different kinds of wine produced by the region’s best vineyards.

It was a pleasure to experience the operation of a tourism service in real life and we could develop and extend our theoretical knowledge with the practical implications. Furthermore it was very positive that the owner answered our questions and welcomed our comments and recommendations kindly.
