INTERNATIONAL COOPERATIVE MARKETING IDEA COMPETITION

The aim of the competition is to create a professional platform that provides an opportunity for undergraduate economics students studying at Hungarian and European universities to showcase their creativity and innovative thinking while giving their best professional performance.

How can you compete and what task should you expect? You will compete individually in an online format. The task is to prepare a Sales Pitch Deck for the sale of an agricultural product created by a cooperative, targeting a specific audience.

Competition procedure: The competition starts at 10:00 AM CET with online check-in. The link required for check-in will be sent to participants the day before. After the start of the competition, competitors will receive the professional material that forms the basis for preparing the Sales Pitch Deck in an online format. You will have 120 minutes to prepare the Sales Pitch Deck. After submitting the presentation, competitors will deliver their pitch. The time available is 8 minutes.

Awards: The top three winners of the competition will receive material prizes and will be granted the opportunity to attend one national and one international conference organized by the Cooperative Research Institute.

The Scientific Student Council of the University of Pannonia, the Scientific Student Council of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Pannonia, with the support of the Faculty of Economics, the institutes and departments of the University of Pannonia and the places of study of the University of Pannonia, announces the Faculty Scientific Student’s Assosiation’s Conference.

The conference is open to undergraduate, BSc/BA, MSc/MA students.

Applications are accepted by electronic registration and by submitting a summary of the work (essay) to be presented.

This should be done through the system available at http://etdk.uni-pannon.hu/.

• date of the 2025 Institutional Scientific Student Conference: 7 May.
• deadline for registration and abstract submission: 1 April (Tuesday) 22:00

To celebrate our 20th anniversary, we are looking forward to a 20 km performance hike on Saturday 14 October 2023. Hopefully you’ll be motivated by the fact that we’re going to the beautiful Tihany peninsula, but if you’re a student, you’ll also be motivated by the fact that you can get 5 signatures in PE lessons for taking part.

Important information:

Date: Saturday 14 October 2023.

For people arriving by bus: meeting at 8:15 am at the bus station in Veszprém (platform 8), from where we take the 8:30 bus down to Tihany. After about an hour’s journey, (getting off at the lower stop in Tihany), we will meet our car at the Kotyogós Café on the southern shore of Lake Innere.

For people arriving by car: meeting at 9:30 am at the Kotyogós Café on the southern shore of Lake Innere.

About the tour: the hike is 20 km long, with 760 metres of ascent. The hike is considered to be of medium difficulty and will take approximately 7 hours.

Route of the tour: Tihany Inner-lake Kotyogós Coffee Terrace – Hanging Hill – Golden House – Gejzírmező – Újlaki church ruins – Fishing Huts – Csúcs Hill – Apáti Hill – Apáti church ruins – Outer Lake – Small Forest Roof – Old Castle – Friends’ Apartments – Boat Station – Calvary – Abbey – Tihany Inner-lake south shore parking

The way back: may vary depending on journey times. 18:17 pm direct bus, 17:34 pm or 19:34 pm with a transfer to Füred.

ClimateLaunchpad the world’s largest green business idea competition and free business development training, is the Climate-KIC business development programme of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology’s climate change-focused Knowledge and Innovation Community, which aims to catalyse ideas that contribute to mitigating the negative impacts of climate change. It will be held again this year in Hungary!

The programme will include a Boot Camp led by a renowned international trainer, where teams will gain the business knowledge they need to build a successful business, followed by a national coach to tailor their development until the national finals.

In addition to valuable prizes and additional business coaching, the best teams will be automatically admitted to the incubation programmes of the Climate Innovation Community, will be able to advance to the international finals, become part of the extensive network of ClimateLauncpad contacts, compete for thousands of euros in prize money and present their ideas to investors!

In total, ClimateLaunchpad teams have attracted more than €325 million in investment over the past 10 years.

To apply, all it takes is an idea to help teams fight climate change, especially in the eight focus areas below:

• sustainable transport
• circular economies
• clean energy
• urban solutions
• food systems
• blue economy
• adaptation and resilience
• the next big thing

Additional conditions:

• a team of at least two people
• at least one team member who speaks English well
• the team is not a registered start-up or enterprise or has been registered for less than one year
• the amount of the grant or grants received to implement the idea does not exceed €200,000
• the team has not yet started to market, sell a service, prototype or product
