The University of Pannonia’s Faculty of Business and Economics, along with its institutions, departments, as well as its teaching locations, with the support of the Scientific Student’s Council of the University of Pannonia and the University of Pannonia Faculty of Business and Economics’ Scientific Student’s Council announces the Scientific Student’s Association’s Conference at the University of Pannonia.

Students enrolled at BSc/BA, MSc/MA programmes can be qualified to participate.

The application has to be done via online registration with a short summary of the research paper handed in on the following website: http://etdk.uni-pannon.hu.

Important dates/deadlines (have to be strictly respected):

  • the date of the 2026 Scientific Student’s Association’s conference: 29th April 2026
  • the deadline for registration and submission of the short summary: 31th March 2026, 10 PM
  • submission deadline for the final paper online: 14th April 2026, 11 PM

How can we process scientific information? Can we discern between real scientific results and fake news? How does the media report scientific results?

The Science for All sub-project of the National Laboratory for Social Innovation (TINLAB) project seeks to answer these questions.

Within the framework of the sub-project, the students of the University of Pannonia participated in a one-day science communication training led by Dr. Judit Sulyok on 12 of April 2024.

During the English-language training, which was held as part of the International Week from 8-12 April, students were given an insight into the current situation and challenges of science communication, and were able to test their knowledge and skills on how to interpret the results of scientific research through practical, playful exercises.

The training was implemented under the project RRF-2.3.1-21-2022-00013 “National Laboratory for Social Innovation”, in the framework of the Széchenyi Plan Plus programme, with the support of the European Union’s Instrument for Recovery and Resilience.
