Join us on February 25, 2026, at 4:45 PM at the welcoming Völgyikút Ház (Veszprém, Kopácsi utca 2.) for an evening filled with strikes, spares, and great conversations.

The event is hosted by our dedicated international mentors—senior students who help guide younger peers through university life—making it a perfect opportunity to connect, ask questions, and build friendships in a relaxed atmosphere.

Whether you’re aiming for a perfect score or just there for the fun, this is your chance to roll into the semester with energy and community spirit.

Starting your studies at a new university is exciting — and a little overwhelming. That’s why we’re inviting all new international students to our Orientation Day, a dedicated welcome event designed to help you feel at home from day one.

Location: Building E, Community Hub (ground floor)

Date: February 5 – 15:00-17:00

Orientation Day is your chance to get to know the university beyond the classroom.

During the event, you’ll receive essential information about university life, academic and student services, and the support systems available to you throughout your studies. We’ll also introduce the Mentor Program, which connects you with experienced students who can help you navigate your first weeks and answer all those “how does this work?” questions.

Most importantly, Orientation Day is about people. It’s an opportunity to meet fellow international students, make your first connections, and start building your community here.

All new international students are strongly encouraged to attend, as the information shared will help you start the semester smoothly and confidently.

To celebrate our 20th anniversary, we are looking forward to a 20 km performance hike on Saturday 14 October 2023. Hopefully you’ll be motivated by the fact that we’re going to the beautiful Tihany peninsula, but if you’re a student, you’ll also be motivated by the fact that you can get 5 signatures in PE lessons for taking part.

Important information:

Date: Saturday 14 October 2023.

For people arriving by bus: meeting at 8:15 am at the bus station in Veszprém (platform 8), from where we take the 8:30 bus down to Tihany. After about an hour’s journey, (getting off at the lower stop in Tihany), we will meet our car at the Kotyogós Café on the southern shore of Lake Innere.

For people arriving by car: meeting at 9:30 am at the Kotyogós Café on the southern shore of Lake Innere.

About the tour: the hike is 20 km long, with 760 metres of ascent. The hike is considered to be of medium difficulty and will take approximately 7 hours.

Route of the tour: Tihany Inner-lake Kotyogós Coffee Terrace – Hanging Hill – Golden House – Gejzírmező – Újlaki church ruins – Fishing Huts – Csúcs Hill – Apáti Hill – Apáti church ruins – Outer Lake – Small Forest Roof – Old Castle – Friends’ Apartments – Boat Station – Calvary – Abbey – Tihany Inner-lake south shore parking

The way back: may vary depending on journey times. 18:17 pm direct bus, 17:34 pm or 19:34 pm with a transfer to Füred.

The Faculty of Business and Economics will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2023. We will mark the anniversary with a jubilee academic year of exciting activities, with the active participation of our current and former students, teachers, staff and partners.

The jubilee academic year will start with the central opening ceremony on 11 September 2023. The event is also a dignified commemoration of the successful work of one of our great predecessors: the unveiling of the statue of Dr. Zoltán Gaál, Professor Emeritus, former Rector of our University. The anniversary academic year will be a year of professional and community-building events, activities and challenges, with the active involvement of our students, teachers, supporters and partners. Programmes – including excursions, competitions, conferences, commemorations and thematic events – will be available on the faculty website and social media channels.

The anniversary logo will indicate which event is part of the FBE20 programme.

University of Pannonia announces a tender of Student Mobility for studies as part of the Erasmus+ programme. The earliest time to take part in the programme is the spring semester of year 2022/2023 in the contemporary tendered period.

With the Erasmus+ mobilityprogramme students studying on Bachelor`s, Master`s or PhD level have access to 12 months of Student Mobility and Traineeship programmes:

• 3-12 months on educational purposes and/or
• 2-12 months on purposes of traineeships.

Erasmus+ programmes spent earlier count into the frame of 12 months. Additional grants can be applied for by those who:

• are disabled or have lasting illness
• are socially disadvantaged students

The deadline for submitting the application has been extended from the original Friday, September 2, 2022, to November 15, 2022!
