max_planck_sholarship_The Department of Public Economics at the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance regularly invites applications for scholarships from doctoral students. The Institute grants these scholarships to excellent students. The successful applicants are expected to pursue their research at the Max Planck Institute and to participate in the Munich Graduate School of Economics (MGSE) of the Department of Economics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU), Munich.

Ph.D. students who already acquired skills in a graduate program, or passed parts of a Ph.D. program at other departments or institutes may apply at any time. New entrants into the Ph.D. program have to apply by April 11 for the academic year that starts in October of the same year.
