Given the state of affairs regarding the Wuhan crown virus known as 2019 nCoV, the University of Pannonia is informing the university’s citizens and the public about the following.

The Graduation Ceremony – 7. February 2020.

The Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Business and Economics will be held on Friday, 7 February 2020 at 11:00 in the lobby of Building B.

Before the Graduation Ceremony, at 10:00, the representative of the students of the newly graduated class will put a memorial plaque on the wall of the Faculty of Economics in the park behind the “A” building.
This locksmith wall is a place for the memories of the newly graduated grades. That locks are symbolizes the whole class! All students and their relatives are welcome to the ceremony!

Receiving invitations to the Graduation Ceremony (2 free of charge, additional 300, – Ft / piece) will take place at office A 101 at Lóránt Megyeri, from 17 of January. (Opening hours: Monday to Thursday: 8: 00-15: 30, Friday 8: 00-13: 00).
At the Graduation Ceremony, you have to wear a gown and hire them free of charge.

There is no need to register for separately! The gowns can be picked up before the ceremony between 8:00 and 10:00 in the conference room of the ground floor of Building B. It is not possible to pre-select the size of it, which will be possible before the celebration. After the ceremony, the gowns must be returned. Please do not leave the campus wearing those gowns.

If someone is unable to pick up the invitations personally at the time specified above, you may also have the option of picking them up by someone else.

Call for Application Student Research Scholarship

The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Pannonia (from hereon it: The Faculty) offers Student Research Scholarship within the framework of the project EFOP-3.6.2-16-2017-00017 “Sustainable, intelligent and inclusive regional and city models”.

PhD, MA and BA students of the Faculty of Business and Economics are eligible to apply, in four research topics.

BA, MA and PhD students can apply for the following sub-projects:

II.2. Aspects of the quality of life by the Lake Balaton as a living space

  • ” (sub-project leader: Dr. Ágnes Raffay)

Scholarship period: 1st February 2020 – 31st October 2020 (a shorter period is possible)

 

Applicants agree to regular attendance and active participation in the operative work of the research sub-project.

Applications are evaluated on the following basis, with each criterion equally weighted:

  • academic performance
  • past and/or current scientific and community activities
  • interview to assess motivation

Documents to be submitted:

  • Filled in and signed application form
  • CV
  • Motivational letter, including a detailed description of the interest in the research area
  • Demonstration and proof of scientific activities (if relevant)
  • Recommendation letter, proving scientific and community activities (if relevant)

 

Amount of scholarship students can apply for:

  • PhD students: 50.000 Ft/month
  • BA and MA students: 30.000 Ft/month

 

Applications must be uploaded onto Moodle until 24:00 20th January, 2020.
