Learn how our ancestors celebrated St. Martin’s Day.

On this occasion, we will present the old Hungarian customs and beliefs associated with this day – you can learn, for example, why we eat goose meat dishes, what new wine symbolizes, and what folk predictions are associated with St. Martin’s Day.

Location: Building E Ground floor, KözTér

Detailed programme:

  • 6:00 pm-6:30 pm Informative presentation on St. Martin’s Day and old Hungarian autumn-winter folk customs
  • 6:30 pm Movie watching

The aim of the program is to bring international students closer to Hungarian cultural heritage.
