How can we process scientific information? Can we discern between real scientific results and fake news? How does the media report scientific results?

The Science for All sub-project of the National Laboratory for Social Innovation (TINLAB) project seeks to answer these questions.

Within the framework of the sub-project, the students of the University of Pannonia participated in a one-day science communication training led by Dr. Judit Sulyok on 12 of April 2024.

During the English-language training, which was held as part of the International Week from 8-12 April, students were given an insight into the current situation and challenges of science communication, and were able to test their knowledge and skills on how to interpret the results of scientific research through practical, playful exercises.

The training was implemented under the project RRF-2.3.1-21-2022-00013 “National Laboratory for Social Innovation”, in the framework of the Széchenyi Plan Plus programme, with the support of the European Union’s Instrument for Recovery and Resilience.

Between 7 November and 11 November, 2022, the Faculty of Business and Economics will organize the International Week for the 14th time.

A week during which you can listen to interesting lectures in English; at an exhibition, through the pictures taken by our foreign students, you can get to know their countries, their culture, their traditions and their gastronomy, several people explain where they came from through short presentations; you can be part of the presentation of their national costumes; you can learn folk songs with them and there is even a little sweets tasting waiting for you; whoever feels like playing a board game can do so; you can also find out about foreign scholarship opportunities; Our Erasmus scholarship students are waiting for you with a report on their experience abroad!

By the programs, you can not only enrich experiences, but also get the oppurtunity to win gifts with the GTK logo, if you can participates in at least 5 programs and collects 5 stickers. The coupon and the stickers can be requested from the organizers at each program.

11th INTERNATIONAL WEEK at University of Pannonia – Faculty of Business and Economics between 27 and 29 of April  been created with  all faculties and campuses of the University of Pannonia, the University of Pécs, ECC 2023, and our creative student group CoolLaunch.

At this time it will be different like before. Because we definitely wanted to offer you something, due to the pandemic, we decided to move the event to the Internet. 10th INTERNATIONAL WEEK at University of Pannonia – Faculty of Business and Economics between 15 and 18 of October.

A week when, you can listen to some interesting presentations in English; you have opportunity to get acquainted about other Countries, different cultures, traditions and gastronomy; you can attend intercultural training. We’ll give you a lecture about International scholarships and Our Erasmus + Students will share their abroad experiences with you.

Beyond the experiences, if you can collect five stickers from five several locations into your “check point” collector sheet, You can get an FBE mug automatically.
