The prestigious international event, the , will take place on May 21–22, 2026, in Budapest at the buildings of Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). This two-day, free scientific conference is jointly organized by HUN-REN Hungarian Research Network and one of Asia’s most prestigious and innovative technical universities, Nanyang Technological University, with the distinguished partnership of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

Bringing together some of the world’s leading experts, the event focuses on the scientific, industrial, and societal aspects of artificial intelligence. The aim of this prestigious symposium is to foster scientific dialogue and strengthen interinstitutional and international collaborations by bringing together globally recognized researchers and institutions in the field of artificial intelligence on a single platform. A key objective is to provide Hungarian researchers, young talents, university communities, developers, and innovative companies in Budapest with direct access to the international forefront of AI.

The University of Pannonia’s Faculty of Business and Economics, along with its institutions, departments, as well as its teaching locations, with the support of the Scientific Student’s Council of the University of Pannonia and the University of Pannonia Faculty of Business and Economics’ Scientific Student’s Council announces the Scientific Student’s Association’s Conference at the University of Pannonia.

Students enrolled at BSc/BA, MSc/MA programmes can be qualified to participate.

The application has to be done via online registration with a short summary of the research paper handed in on the following website: http://etdk.uni-pannon.hu.

Kia ora, New Zealand (Aotearoa), what a great congress and experience!

Our lecturer, Dr Katalin Lőrincz attended the World Leisure Congress organised by the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand, and shared the following account of her experience with us.

The main theme of the congress was “Learn well, Live well”.

“I was extremely thrilled to have the opportunity to deliver my presentation on “Adaptation and Innovation in Cultural Events Amid Crisis: An Examination of the ECoC Programme.”. Everything went great! It was such an enriching experience, combined with amazing discussions. Unique nature, wildlife and extreme attractions, friendly people and the living maori culture.
