We warmly welcome all international students to a special program where you can hear an interesting presentation about the Hungarian Advent & Christmas traditions.

You’ll discover how Hungarian families prepare for the holidays — what delicious foods they make, what customs they follow, and the little traditions that make this time of year so magical. After the lecture, Santa Claus will also be joining us! He’ll share the story behind his legend, spread some festive cheer, and of course, you can take photos with him!

The festive season is approaching, so it’s time to get into the Christmas spirit.

Join us for our Advent craft afternoon, where we can make handmade festive decorations and gifts together. Don’t worry if you’re not a master craftsman—good cheer, hot tea, and Christmas music are guaranteed to set the mood.

At this year we are organizing the ADVENT HANDICRAFT WORKSHOP at the University of Pannonia. Come and participate on the preparing where we will create an atmosphere for Christmas together.

Location: Bulding “A”, Room A/3-A/8

Time: 25 November 2024 (Monday), 5p.m. – 7p.m.

You can create a variety of home decorations, Christmas tree decorations, small gifts with us and gather ideas for work at home.

Bring a mug for delicious Christmas tea, prepare your nose and ears for the smells and melodies of the holiday.

Don’t forget to bring scissors, you’ll get everything else from us.
