Let us recommend you a brand new initiative for expatriates in town. Maybe you know the bar in the heart of Veszprém, called Papírkutya. This place will be the home of your ExPat Club. The opening night, and the first event will be on the 3th of April. Let’s join the “Sky above Veszprem” walk, check out the breathtaking view from the 20-storey tower house, and/or have a great dinner, get some special drinks in Papírkutya.

The first event >>>

A week during which you can listen to interesting lectures in English; at an exhibition, through the pictures taken by our foreign students, you can get to know their countries, their culture, their traditions and their gastronomy, several people explain where they came from through short presentations; you can be part of the presentation of their national costumes; you can learn folk songs with them and there is even a little sweets tasting waiting for you; whoever feels like playing a board game can do so; you can also find out about foreign scholarship opportunities; Our Erasmus scholarship students are waiting for you with a report on their experience abroad!

By the programs, you can not only enrich experiences, but also get the oppurtunity to win gifts with the GTK logo, if you can participates in at least 5 programs and collects 5 stickers. The coupon and the stickers can be requested from the organizers at each program.

The Foundation for the University of Pannonia calls the attention of the full-time and correspondent students (both Hungarian citizen or foreign citizen falling under the same category by international agreement or legislation) of the University of Pannonia – being state-supported or self-funded/feepaying, that based on the regulations, they may submit an application for the Scientific Students’ Association Scholarship (in the followings: Scholarship) for the 2nd semester of the 2022/2023 school
year.

An application may be submitted by every BA, MA and other higher education vocational student or student of an undivided training of the University of Pannonia, who

• does not have a previously submitted TDK paper with the same topic in the University of Pannonia at the time of application
• has an active student status in the period of the application
• maintains his or her active student status during the period of the scholarship
• agrees to carry out research activity with the help of a supervisor during the period of the scholarship and
• participates on the institutional/faculty Conference of the Scientific Students’ Association and present his or her research results.

The sum of the TDK Scholarship is: 100.000. – HUF/month/application.

Starting date of submission: 15th of October 2022. End: 21:59, 15th of November 2022.
