ESPA – Internship opportunities

ESPA aims to make the transition to come to a foreign country as easy and stress free as possible, especially in the current circumstances, so they have already secured the housing for the students and it will be paid for by the host company.

They offer 3 carreer starting internship opportunities in neutral science:

Chemistry Internsip

Engineering Geophysics Internship 

Content Marketing Internship – Life Sciences 


There are no fees for students or universities to use their services.

The benefits:

– Paid Accommodation.
– Paid Utility Bills (electricity, gas, water and council tax) + Internet Access.
– Commuter travel to work (accommodation will be found within an acceptable commuting distance from the workplace, if that requires more than a sensible walk then a bus/train ticket will be provided).

This will be sourced and managed on the students behalf by ESPA. These benefits have an approximate value of 700€-1000€ per month (depending on location). There is no salary over and above the benefits offered, unless specifically stated as the students keeps their whole Erasmus+ grant. For all internships over 6 months or remote, additional benefits will be paid.

 

AEIST competition

Since its foundation 70 years ago, the AIEST as the first scientific organization in tourism has been shaping tourism futures. Now it’s your turn!

The International Programme at the Austrian FH JOANNEUM University continue in 2021

The Austrian FH JOANNEUM University is offering a new “International Programme” at their Bad Gleichenberg campus for the Summer semester of 2021. All academic institutes at their campus in the spa town of Bad Gleichenberg (one hour from the main campus in Graz) contribute to the programme by offering some of their regular courses in English to accommodate international students from health and tourism studies:

Exchange students can choose courses from all of the three institutes contributing to the programme.

This allows for a wide range of general and specific classes that students from the University of Pannonia can choose from. Have a look at the attached brochure and see how their “International Programme” may fit you!

 

Of course, they run a “Buddy” programme as well as tandem learning opportunities for incoming students. Accommodation is at a very pleasant, modern dorm within 5 minutes’ walk from the campus.

 

Please note that a different range of courses is offered in the fall and spring semesters.

The nomination deadline for the Summer semester 2021 is the 1st of November, 2020.

Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions is inviting students to an online ideathon between 13-15 of November 2020. Take a chance, participate remotely, and bring an innovative solution to help change the world for the better!

WHAT IS futuRE:build?
It’s an international idea competition for students who are willing to make the world a better place using their creative intelligence, innovative ideas, and novel solutions. The event will take place online. You will brainstorm ideas and create a concept with your existing team, solo, or form a new team with others. Seasoned experts will be there to guide and mentor you along the way, if you need it.

WHAT’S THEIR GOAL?
They aim to provide solutions to the burning issues of a rapidly changing, post-pandemic world with your help, focusing on four distinct areas of life. Expand the categories for examples.

 

PRIZES
Each Category Winner will receive a prize of € 2,500.

Erasmus+ Traineeship at Norway

The Addmissions Office of the University of Stavanger offers an internship opportunity.

Duration: Between 6 and 12 months, preferably 1-year duration

Location: Arne Rettedals hus, Kjell Arholms gate 41, 4021 Stavanger, Norway

Starting date: September 2020

Working hours: 9:00-15:00, 30h/week

Accommodation: UiS covers university accommodation cost up to 5000 NOK/month

Payment: No salary; the student is expected to have an Erasmus+ scholarship or other financial support. UiS contributes with coverage of accommodation costs (see above). UiS covers a fee for a Norwegian language course (12 weeks x 4 hours every semester).

Main responsibilities and tasks:

– Supporting the International Admissions team
– Working with different social media channels
– Maintaining of Excel sheets, registration of data to student information software
– Regular updating of webpages
– Contribution to marketing/recruitment and promotion activities
– Other tasks can eventually be added, depending on the performance of the intern

Person profile:

– Student enrolled at a Bachelor’s or Master’s level or a recent graduate who can receive Erasmus+ scholarship or other financial support
– Strong English skills (spoken and written), knowledge of other languages is a strong advantage
– Strong communication skills and intercultural awareness

European Travel Commission – Internship in Brussels

The European Travel Commission is looking for an Digital Marketing and Communication Intern to join our team for a period of six months starting in July 2020.

The internship is paid 1000€ net/month.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate:

– Self-initiative,
– Detail oriented,
– Good project and time management skills,
– Creative thinking,
– Strong communication skills in English (oral and writing), knowledge of other languages is advantage,
