Dr Zsolt Ugray – Professor of Management Information Systems at Utah State University – made a visit back in Hungary and for our request, he performed a great presentation in the Harsányi János Special Student Hostel, in Veszprém, on 17 November 2011, at 4 in the afternoon. The topic was Business Intelligence: how it provides an advantage and how its use is essential to maintain a competitive edge. The discusson was really interesting and it showed business management from a new aspect, and I think all of us earned precious skills that can be used later on. We had an illuminating talk in a familiar atmosphere – but still, the disputed issues are going to be present in our studies and future jobs as well.
