Summer School in Tourism Events Management

11Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences is happy to announce the 17th edition of Baltic International Summer School, taking place in the green and active city of Valmiera, Latvia, from June 21 – July 2, 2015. This year the students can apply for 1 of the 2 simultaneous courses:
“International Tourism Events Management” – exploring the event management industry; and “Latvia – Place for Creative Development” which will focus on Latvian culture, language and characteristics in today’s world.

The students from the University of Pannonia are exempt from tuition fee and need to cover only their accommodation, meals, and cultural programme (which is a total of 390 EUR). Students can apply until June 1. The special feature of this year’s summer school will be the possibility to experience the traditional way of Latvian summer solstice celebration “Jani”. Within Comprehensive Business Studies II course the IX. Presentation Day is organised next week. During the two-day event first on 11 March (click here for the details) students from Clayton State University, Atlanta (USA) visit our university and give joint presentations with the students of the Faculty of Business and Economics.

On the second day, 12 March, Hungarian students from all majors introduce an up-to-date topic via economic perspective.
All professors, students and those who are interested are warmly welcome.
